Conversions to this flat, located in a multistorey building from 1901, were made resulting from the rebuilding of sanitary systems throughout the entire building. Alterations focused primarily on the kitchen and bathroom. The 60m2 floor area was opened to give the feeling of a single, larger space. Living, dining, sleeping, and cooking functions found their placement according to the resulting forms. The sauna and bathroom remain in a separate space, isolated by a translucent glass partition. The openness of the flat was continued to the sanitary spaces; light passing through the kitchen window reaches the sauna and bathroom through the glass partitions.
