Signature Starbucks was finally opened in the city center of Finland´s capital, Helsinki. This second Helsinki cafeteria of the brand from Seattle opened in autumn 2013, and is located in the Stockmann bookshop Akateeminen at the crossing of the North-Esplanade and Central St. where previously the magazines were sold. The American coffee shop brings some international atmosphere in the building designed by the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto in 1969. The interior of the Signature Starbucks is created with furnitures from Finnish modern classic era. All the surfaces are warm and authentic in order to create a cozy atmosphere according to the Starbucks brand.
