The initial idea of this project was to create a townhome complex with a maximum density on this fairly small lot. The subject plot was originally master planned to serve as a corner shop for the surrounding subdivisions and therefore A1 zoning made it possible to meet the regulations for this dense solution. The design consists of 13 individual townhome units each of them having an own well sized courtyard and a two-car parking in front of the unit. The front towers works as a master suite including an ample study for the parents. The tower placement in front of the unit is an important feature for the courtyard natural light when keeping the core areas only one storey tall. The setbacks were used for the parking and circular one way driveway.
