The main idea of this project was to create a Lebanese lunch restaurant in a popular Punavuori district in the city of Helsinki. The owner created a unique menu for this small restaurant using some ideas from her famous Farouge fine dining restaurant. Our task was to create a Lebanese style street interior and a new floor plan with a Scandinavian minimalistic flavor. The main features of this new interior consist of pure light colored surfaces, moroccan flavored tiling and a natural formed wood planks sawn from the Fiskars sawmill area.

Academic Bookstore, Stockmann

Academic Bookstore in Helsinki is one of the biggest Bookstores in the world. It´s classic reputation is mainly based on the famous Central Helsinki store originally designed by the famous modernist Finnish Architect Alvar Aalto.

Artek Flagship Store

Artek is originally a Finnish modern furniture store nowadays owned by a Swiss furniture brand Vitra. The flagship store on Esplanadi in the center of Helsinki needed a specified places for the new product lines and at the same time the overall renovation was made.

Artek 2nd Cycle Store

One of Artek's new business concepts, this boutique specializes in second-hand classic design furniture, raising the issue of conscious consuming while honouring the authentic design and importance of originality.

Starbucks Coffee

Signature Starbucks was finally opened in the city center of Finland´s capital, Helsinki. This second Helsinki cafeteria of the brand from Seattle opened in autumn 2013, and is located in the Stockmann bookshop.

Between capital city and resort

The satellite town of Saliena, which is situated between Jurmala and Riga in Latvia10 years old. The realization of the project, which involves the creation of a proper town with workplaces, schools, and public spaces, is still ongoing. However, the first stage of the project has already proved the efficacy of the multifunctional model chosen for this development.

The former Mandatum Bank headquarters was converted to residential use and divided into four flats, the largest being 600m2 shared between two levels. The main floor living area constitutes 450m2 with an additional 150m2 in the lower floor, hosting a brick-vaulted wine cellar.

A south facing seaside plot hosts a group of four buildings: a main house, guest building, service building, and a sauna. The main building was constructed between two mounds allowing the basement to fit naturally.
